Offshore Africa Port St John's in Port St John's
We are specialists in the sardine run and shark diving.
With our home base in Port St John's, we are your professional and friendly gateway to the wildest waters in South Africa.
With over 25 years experience in the sardine run, we are true specialists in this field. We know the area intricately and the life that can be expected on this greatest shoal on earth migration. We offer fantastic photographic opportunities on the ocean, under the ocean and on land.
Join us on one of our half day photographic trips to either Waterfall Bluff & Cathedral Rock, or to Umgazana estuary system.
All our trips are weather and ocean condition dependent.
Each year the humpback whales pass pur area of Port St John's on their annual migration to the warmer waters of Mozambique & Tanzania.
These incredible whales can be sighted between June & end of November, breaching, spy hopping and lob tailing.
These humpback whales are the most musical of the whale species.
Our 2 hour ocean experience trip, likened to a game drive, except in the ocean, is a must do for anyone visiting our area. One will get to experience the thrill of a typical African surf launch to start things off with.
We look out for our resident pod of Bottlenose dolphins & humpback whales (if the season) as well as a trip southwards towards Silaka Nature Reserve (3rd Beach), taking in the famous Gap & Blowhole at 2nd beach and making our way home again, stopping at the historical Cape Hermes lighthouse.
We get to stop at the famous "Gates" of Port St John's for a final picture before experiencing the thrill of the surf and back into the mighty Umzimvubu River.
We provide light snacks on this trip.
