Our recruitment search process is truly unique in that it takes into consideration the strategic objectives of your firm and consequently, the type of candidate most suited to ensuring that such objectives can be achieved. Therefore, whether your firm is seeking a candidate with a particular gender or black empowerment specifications, we are well positioned to identify the right candidate for you. Throughout the process detailed below we keep you up-to-date with our progress by sending you weekly ‘Activity Updates’ so you can track our progress. Our recruitment methodology is detailed below: STEP 1: UNDERSTANDING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES We meet you to ensure we understand your recruitment requirements as well as your company’s goals, strategies and culture. We agree the scope of the role, its responsibilities, reporting lines and the compensation with you and then discuss the search parameters including target companies and geographical remit. Post our meeting with you we prepare a Proposal incorporating all the pertinent points relating to the Search (including confirmation of our costs) and we sign it and ask you to sign it too. STEP 2: RESEARCH PHASE TO SHORTLISTING PHASEOnce a client has engaged us, we immediately initiate the search process. The first step is to identify and confirm target companies and candidates as well a list of referral sources using our database, network of contacts and team of researchers. This allows us to create a ‘long list’ of candidates for initial assessment by us. These initial assessments enable us to screen out unsuitable candidates and concentrate on a more detailed evaluation of candidates who might go onto the shortlist. This process regularly entails us calling over 100 individuals and on particularly tricky searches, more than this. As we narrow down the list of potentially suitable candidates we conduct detailed interviews with the best, assessing them for technical ability, leadership style and cultural fit. After between 3 to 4 weeks of ‘going live’ on a mandate, we are ready to review and discuss the shortlist with you. STEP 3: THE INTERVIEW PROCESSWe facilitate interviews between you and the candidates making sure we obtain honest and detailed feedback from all parties whilst keeping everyone appraised as to next steps. Full data, credit, criminal and reference checks are done to verify the integrity of all data and information. We can also provide full psychological assessments so that a full analysis of competencies, personality and interests of the candidates can be established.STEP 4: CANDIDATE SELECTION / PRESENTATION OF OFFEROnce the preferred candidate has been selected, we assist you in formulating an offer, presenting it to the candidate and negotiating its acceptance Where asked, we are happy to conduct reference checks on your behalf.
